Hello! I’m Carina Nilsson (she/her), an illustrator and graphic recorder living with gratitude on the traditional territory of the Snuneymuxw First Nation (Nanaimo), on Vancouver Island, Canada. I am Swedish-Italian: my father is from Jämtland, in Northern Sweden and my mother is from Cassino, Italy, a small village in-between Rome & Naples.

I visually support projects that value relationship-building, health equity, and anti-racist social justice initiatives. I’ve had the honour of collaborating with Indigenous communities and leaders, international maternal health conferences, and gender-affirming care organizations.
